Chelsea's Wedding

A couple of weekend's ago one of my best gals got hitched! It was an evening wedding at a winery and could not have been more beautiful!

Bridesmaid selfie!

I haven't done any flower arrangements in a while and it always makes my heart happy getting to use the creative part of my brain for a bit! Maybe someday I'll start coordinating weddings again.

It was an amazing and beautiful ceremony! I could not be happier for their little family to start making a lifetime of memories together! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day!!

#schererlyyours

A few weekends ago one of my very best friends got married! Janice and I met in high school just a few times (she dated one of "our guys" for a few months), but then in college we ran into each other again and the rest was history! Janice lived with Pete and I for two years before she moved in with Gabe. She was there for me when I brought Zetta home and helped me through one of the toughest transition a girl will ever go through. She is that one friend I know I can call and she will drop what she is doing to come to my rescue. I am so thankful our paths crossed that night and college because my life would be so boring without you, Janice!! Thank you for being so positive in every situation and always trying to bring the best out of everything! I am so happy for you and Gabe and cannot wait for the lifetime of memories with you all!

Rehearsal!

Bridesmaids!

One of the other bridesmaids had a selfie stick and we had WAY too much fun using it! I really think I need one for myself! :)

Everything about your day was beautiful, Janice! xoxo.

Corey's Wedding

The weekend after Christmas my cousin, Corey got married! Zetta was a flower girl and Wyatt (my nephew) was a ring barer. They were so cute! Zetta was not into taking pictures after the wedding, but what do you except from a 2 year old! It was a great weekend celebrating Corey and Alyssa! Welcome to the family, Alyssa!

Corey was "clanning" before the wedding. Hilarious.

Going to the chapel...

My bestest friend, Janice, is getting married!! I could not be happier for her and Gabe! Janice is one of my three friend's that I made in college and has turned out to be one of my very closets friends! She is so caring, loving, and protective of her friends! Some of my best memories are with this girl! I cannot wait for her big day!! Her sister's threw her an engagement party a few weeks ago and it was amazing! We were a little late (had to do bedtime first:)) so I didn't get a picture of the table or decor, but it all looked amazing! Love ya, Janice! You deserve nothing but the best!! xoxo

Mr. & Mrs. Siebert!

This past weekend one of my very best friends tied the knot! I could not be happier! Friday, myself and one other bridesmaid got our nails done and we helped decorate all day before rehearsal that evening. We had the fastest rehearsal ever, then headed out to a local winery for dinner!

We all got up and were at the hair place by 9:30am to start the day! Bagels, mimiosa's, and some of my favorite friends of all time..I knew it was going to be an amazing day! These girls are some of my oldest and best friends. I am so happy that we have all stayed so close and were able to have such a fun weekends celebrating Tara and Michael! I didn't take as many picuture's as I would have liked because I didn't have my phone half the time, but it was a beautiful ceremony and an equally as beautiful reception! In between, the wedding party hopped on a bus and headed to one of our high school friends farm to take pictures. While the bride and groom were taking pictures, the wedding party all just sat around and caught up on each others lives!
Congratultions Mr. and Mrs.Siebert!!! You deserve nothing but the best!

Tara's getting married!

One of my very best friends, Tara is getting married the first weekend of September! We went to school together all our lives and have been good friends since middle school. She is one of most loyal and loving friends that a girl can have! She is always there no matter what, and I couldn't wait to celebrate with her last weekend! We all met and loaded up Saturday morning and headed to Nashville! We pulled in about lunch time, checked in at our hotel and took off walking! We grabbed some lunch, they just walked in and out of stores for a little while. A couple of the girls bought new boots (because we actually live in a town where people wear boots on a daily basis, not just to look cute ;)), and then we headed back to the hotel to do the lingerie part-ay and get ready for a fun filled night!

Lunch!

My room of girls!

We all got these little drink cling stickers, they made for a good time!

Some of my absolute favorite girls, ever!
It was a fun evening! We did have an eventful trip home, with my car over heating and then getting pulled over, because I called Pete to let him know we were back on the road and apparently there is a strict law against being on the phone while driving in Illinois. luckily, the lady cop was extremely sweet and let us off with a warning because we didn't know and she didn't want to ruin our weekend! Thank you lady cop!!!!!

I was more than ready to get home to these two sweet babes though! I am so thankful for my awesome husband that watches the girls without question so I can have some time with friends!! Such a great time with great friends!

Lindsey's Big Day!

The next weekend after I got home from NYC, one of my childhood friends got married! Lindsey's and I were so close when we were little and she is someone who no matter how long we go between talking, we can always pick right up like it was yesterday! I cherish the memories we have as the "Pingtis" family! The Pingels (and a couple other families) and our family did A LOT growing up. They were the family that we took vacations with, watched the super bowl with, celebrated NYE's, "Family" Christmas dinner and pretty much any other "non-holiday" event, we were with them! I pray Pete and I find other couples that want to raise their children in such a Christ-centered environment; so my kids can have relationships like I did with these families. They are truly "family". On to the wedding!!!!

It all started on Thursday at a pre-wedding workout! I think it'll be easier to just post the pictures and tell what's going on as we go. I just have so many!

Before our workout!

Getting our steps set up!

Lindsey and her awesome vail!
Mrs. Rene (Lindsey's mom) planned out a workout for all us girls, a few moms, grandmas, aunts, etc! She also wanted us to learn the cupid shuffle, the electric slide, and a few other line dances for the reception! It was nothing short of a good time!
After the workout, we all went home to get ready and all meet back at Whitney's house (Lindsey's sister) for her Bachelorette/ Lingerie party!

Dinner at Saffron! YUM!

The group!

Playing one of the games! Whitney went above and beyond planning this party! We played a few games, but I think this is the only one that is "blog appropriate" ;)

Opening all her gifts! We had to write a piece of marriage advice and sex advice on a card and Whitney read them out loud to see who's gift Lindsey opened next, Lindsey had to try to guess who wrote each one! So fun!!

Friday morning we started early with mani's and pedi's! Mrs. Rene was so sweet and treated all of us!

After nails, we all headed downtown to a local bed and breakfast for a bridesmaid luncheon put on by Lindsey's aunt, cousin, and grandma! It was so delicious!!

After lunch we went to check out the reception hall before heading to church for the rehearsal!

Rehearsal! Mrs. Jewel (the church wedding chair person) and the videoographer (that was EVERYWHERE! That will be one good video :))

I didn't get any pictures of the rehearsal dinner, but it was so nice! Curt's parents rented the river view room above Buckner's and it was so pretty!

Saturday!!! The BIG day!!!

Doing our make-up

All of us girls in our robes! This was Lindsey' s gift to all us bridesmaids. It was such a thoughtful gift, and I have worn mine multiple times since the wedding! Love it!

Getting in the dress!

Lindsey and I waiting to go downstairs!!!

Seeing her dad for the first time!

I didn't get any pictures of the actual ceremony, obviously. But here are a few at different locations after! So Fun!

The newly married couple

First dance

Doing our dances!

Sparklers as they exit. It was so pretty :)

That wraps up another wedding weekend! One more to go!!

xoxo,
Erin
